It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester E. King of Montgomery, Pennsylvania, born in Allenwood, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis King and Lena King (Hopkins); his wife Audrey S. Welliver; his daughter Diane Bartlett; and his brothers, John and Wayne King.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Ewing (Kim Nelson) of Hughesville, Victoria King of Jersey Shore, Michael King (Andrea) of Frankford, DE and Carol Miller (Dave) of Montgomery; his siblings, Willis "Bud" King (Shirley) of Lewisburg, Nancy Vermeulen of Montgomery and Sherma Hill of Hughesville; and his grandchildren, Dennis, Angela, Robert, Kasey, Jason, Chrissy, Garrett, Sarah, Aaron and Mike. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
