He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Shook and Virginia Shook (Fair); his wife Lana D. Wertz; his daughter Leanne Pick; and his brother Glenn Shook.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy; his son-in-law George Zimmerman of Milton; his siblings, David Shook of Hilliards, Ronald Shook of Parker, Joseph Shook of Gastonia, NC, Daniel Shook of Cranberry, Sally Roudebush of Chicora, Debbie Osier of Shippenville and Tammie Shook of Parker; and his granddaughters, Sheena, Chelsy, Carly and Cortney.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Covenant Assembly of God (1270 Pinchtown Rd, Montgomery, PA 17752). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Gary's name be made to LAPS, 630 Wildwood Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
