He was predeceased by: his parent Andrew Hanley; his former wife Betty Jean Hanley; and his brothers, Harold Raymond Hanley and James F. Hanley. He is survived by: his parent Rhea Hanley (Smith); his spouse Eleanor L. Brecht Hanley (Kashner); his stepchildren, Harold (Kay Brecht) of Catawissa, PA, Martha (Larry Kitchen) of Bloomsburg, PA, Marvin Brecht of Danville, PA, Nancy (Wayne Stahl) of Lewisburg, PA and Ann Brecht of Danville, PA; and his siblings, Blair Hanley of Berwick, PA, Philip E. Hanley of Fort Plain, NY, Anna M. Ulman of North Scituate, RI and Susan E. Weller of Montgomery, PA. He is also survived by nine step-grandchildren; 20 step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
