He was predeceased by: his parent Frank Bennett; his foster son Jim Myers; and his siblings, Max Bennett, Pete Bennett and Virginia Reynolds.
He is survived by: his parent Annabelle Bennett (Murphy); his spouse Elizabeth Bennett (Hakes); his children, Deborah Smith (Don) of Montgomery, PA, Franklin Jr (Linda Bennett.) of Mt. Carmel, PA and Darlene "Dolly"; his husband Tom Staggert of Montgomery, PA; and his sister Joann Myers of Eyers Grove, PA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
