It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Clapper (Montgomery, Pennsylvania), born in Thurman, Iowa, who passed away on May 26, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Clapper and Beulah Clapper; his son Dennis Clapper Jr.; and his sister Arideth Kellogg. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen D. Guyer; his daughter Elizabeth Wells (Richard) of Republic, Missouri; his grandchildren, Richard Wells (Amber) of Springfield, Missouri and Ryan Wells of Springfield, Missouri; and his great grandchildren, Richard and Gracie Wells.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations in Denny's name be made to your local VFW or American Legion or local fish and wildlife service.
