He is survived by: his wife Eleanor J. Zurek (Cruickshank) of Mont Clare, PA; his children, John (Nancy Zurek) and Ann Marie (Edward Kugler); and his grandchildren, John Zurek, Jr., Ashley Barnett, James Kugler and Nicole Kugler.
