She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlotte Young and Forest Young; and her husband James Scott. She is survived by: her daughter Dianne; her stepson James (Venus); her siblings, Deleware and Verdell; and her grandchildren, Lexie, Randy, Matthew and Jennifer. She is also survived by her two great-granddaughters, as well as her grandchildren in Pittsburgh, all loving grandsons.
