He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Jo Sakaluk (Colaianni); his parents, Michael Sakaluk and Victoria Sakaluk (Stapinski); and his siblings, John, Charles "Kaiser", Steve and Mildred Olivo.
He is survived by: his son David J. Sakaluk (Linda) of Charlotte, N. C.; and his grandsons, Michael (Betsy) of Huntersville, N. C. and Tyler (Jackie) of Gig Harbor, Wash.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
