She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jim Phillips; her stepchildren, James and Morgan Phillips; her parents, David Meyer and Mary Lou Serene Meyer; her sister Rebecca Meyer Gottlieb (EJ Gottlieb); her nieces, Emily, Vanessa and Audrey Gottlieb; and her close friend Dr. Karen Vossen Smirnakis.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mountcastle Funeral Home (13318 Occoquan Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22191). Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gene H. Corl Funeral Chapel Inc. (4335 Northern Pike, Monroeville, PA 15146). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cremation Services of Monroeville (4335 Northern Pike, Monroeville, PA 15146).
