It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell L. Fry Sr. (Monroeville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his adoptive parents, Lee Fry and Marion Fry of Turtle Creek. He is survived by: his wife Helen Fry (Thompson); his children, Susan Ott (Howard), Russell Fry, Jr. (Holly), Debra Hoffman (Dave) and Elaine Horne (Joe); and his grandchildren, Jessica Kocon (Mike), Lawrence Ott (Sarah), Christine Hopkins (Chris), Rachael Dvizac (Mario), Chelsea Nasetka (Matt), Brittany Bullock (Josh), Timothy Ott, Robert Kording (Amanda), Sarah Cable (Zach), Joseph Ott, Justin Ott (Tara), David Ott (Hannah) and Michael Ott. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Monroeville (3970 Monroeville Blvd, Monroeville, PA 15146).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Russ's memory to the First Baptist Church of Monroeville Diaper Fund, 3970 Monroeville Blvd., Monroeville, PA 15146.
