He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Ellen Jane Leax. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Leax (Pugliano); his children, Jesse Robert Leax (Megan) and Jason William Leax; his grandchildren, August, Phineas and Ezra Kathleen Leax; and his siblings, Jane Anne Taylor (Robert), James Henry Leax Jr. and Margaret Ellen Fisher (late Edward).
