He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leand Cassidy and Kathrine McKay Cassidy; his wife Mirium Summ Cassidy; his daughters, Nancy Bachelder (Gary), Linda Fitchwell (Rick) and Patty Dapra (Shawn); his siblings, Richard Cassidy, Cathy D'Alesio and Carol Gould; and his grandchildren, Heather Hoffman (Jason), Ryan Eicheldinger, Shana Bachelder, Tamara Katsarelis (Isabella), Lena Newsome (Cody), Ashley Eicheldinger, Eric Fitchwell (Morgan), Emily Kobler (Mike) and Kevin Fitchwell (Alexia).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gene H. Corl Funeral Chapel Inc. (4335 Northern Pike, Monroeville, PA 15146). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
