He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Alsberry (Smith) and Joseph Alsberry, Jr.; his brother Joseph Alsberry III; his stepmother Elizabeth "Betty" Alsberry (Jones); and his uncle Vic.
He is survived by: his brothers, David Alsberry and Gary Alsberry; his cousin Robert Alsberry Jr. (Bobby); his daughter Michelle Lubiano; his former wife Ava Alsberry (Webb); his children, Richard Joseph Alsberry, Reneé Marie (Alsberry) and Richardson (Shawn); his wife Shirley; his family, Kelly Dillard, Erin Russell (Lauren) and Amanda Gee (Harold); and his grandchildren, Bobby, Isaiah, Jameson, Shawn Jr., Jalen, Alaena, Naomi, Daemien, Max, Demetrius, Madden and Navy. He is also survived by family members including wife, brothers, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
