He was predeceased by: his wife Claire; and his parents, Catherine Matiasic and Joseph Matiasic. He is survived by: his sister Dolores Stiles of South Carolina; and his children, John Matiasic Jr., Kathy Kifer (Bill), Diane Fink (Roger) and Joanne Thomas (Ed). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
