He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Uphoff and Sarah Rose Uphoff (Dodds). He is survived by: his spouse Beverly A. Uphoff (Redinger); his children, BethAnn Sanders (Ronald) of Weirton, WV and James J. Uphoff (Mindy) of Monroeville; his grandchildren, Ashley Rose Sanders and Serenity Amanda Uphoff; and his siblings, Theodore Uphoff (Frances) and Ruth Ann Roy (Rob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jim's name to the Monroeville Volunteer Fire Department Station 5, 100 Seco Rd. Monroeville, PA 15146.
