He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur A. Swift and Alice Clark Swift of Carmichaels, PA.. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Gary A. Swift Jr. (Lisa) and Kelly Lynn McElfresh (Robert); his granddaughters, Samantha Swift and Shelby Bosley; his great grandchildren, Kammelia Swift, Skyler and Cleo Bosley; and his siblings, Barry L. Swift (Patricia) and Kathy Sue Swift. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Garden City United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
