She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Heid and Thelma Heid; her husband Gilbert Thomas; and her sisters, Marion and Madolyn.

She is survived by: her children, Jeff, Melsina Thomas and Sheila Wilkinson (Roy); her grandchildren, Sadie, Ty, Abby, Cassandra and Kyle; and her close friend Ruby.
