In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Donald had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Donald may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Comunale; and his parents, Genre Comunale and Mildred Comunale (Hudak). He is survived by: his children, Connie Denning (John), Anthony Comunale (Michelle), Melissa Panza (Sean), Doug Comunale (Mary) and Mike Comunale (Krista); and his brother Lawrence Comunale (Charlette). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alfieri Funeral Home Inc. (201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, PA 15148). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Colman Catholic Church (100 Tri-Boro Expy, Turtle Creek, PA 15145).
