It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diamond (Samaras) Koistinen (Monroeville, Pennsylvania), born in Homestead, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Samaras and Stavroula Samaras (Chalikis); her sons, George Kiragis (Joanne) and Stephen Kiragis (Debbie); her grandchildren, Jenna Kinkela (Aaron), Britta Kiragis, Kristen Weber (Michael) and Stephen Kiragis (Kyra); her great grandchildren, Colten Kinkela, Crew Weber, Lumina Kiragis and Cloey Kinkela; her sister Athena Terzis; her goddaughter Nikki Rosato; her former husband Stanley Kiragis; her husband Leo Koistinen; and her brother Paul Samaras. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Humane Animal Rescue, Animal Friends, or the Alzheimer's Association.
