He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Hickman and Catherine Hickman (Coleman). He is survived by: his siblings, Roberta Hickman (Sissy), Solomon Kenneth Hickman and Reginald Hickman, Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
