She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Eberhard "Duke" Schuerer; her children, Nanette (Schuerer), David Schuerer (Kendra) and Douglas Schuerer (Nikoleta); her grandchildren, Victor Mancuso, Marianna Mancuso, Nina Schuerer, Charlotte Schuerer and Clara Schuerer; her brother John Sabak; and her parents, John Sabak and Mary Sabak.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
