She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Ramey and Edna Potter Ramey; her spouse Carmen Vigliotti; and her siblings, Bill, Allen, Sherman Ramey, Dolorse Darnell, Anna Rae Cantrell and Sadie Bove.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joseph Ramey (Jeannie) of Georgia, Leona Thomas of Tornado, WV and Vada Matney of Elkhorn City, KY.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and devoted friends.
While isolated by the pandemic in a care center, Virginia wrote her memoirs and gifted her family and friends with her book to celebrate her 80th birthday.
