It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Bednar (Monongahela, Pennsylvania), born in New Eagle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 21, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Howard Holzaphfel; her husband George Bednar; her daughter Cindy Gira; and her sister Joyce Necciai. She is survived by: her parent Josephine Holzaphfel-Schultz (Flagle); her daughter Sherri Taddeo (Tim Marmie) of Monongahela; her grandchildren, Tamara Feiglestein (Shira) of Pittsburgh, Lisa Morris (Matthew) of Finleyville, Lena and Travis Taddeo of Monongahela; her great grandchildren, Eli Criswell, Cylvia Feiglestein and Aiden Morris; her sisters, Judy Gagliardi and Loma Young of Monongahela; and her son-in-law Andrew Gira of Victory Hill.
