He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Vugrinovich and Loretta Vugrinovich (Solomon) of Finleyville; and his brother-in-law John Kozon. He is survived by: his wife Darlene "Dolly" Kozon Vugrinovich; his children, Michael A. Vugrinovich, Jr. (Lisa) of Lone Pine and Michelle Vivio (Ronald) of Eighty Four; his siblings, Nancy Berisko (Ray) of Brownsville and John Vugrinovich (Kathy) of Monongahela; and his sister-in-law Patty Kozon of Monongahela. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
