She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert H. Rutan and Ada Louella Fitzpatrick Rutan; her husband Charles Ewing "Bud" Shurgott; her son Robin Ewing Shurgott; and her brothers, Robert, Phillip, William "Max", James "Jim" Rutan, Wesley and Harry Rutan.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Sickles-Jones (Charles) of Monongahela; her daughter-in-law Loretta McConnell of New Eagle; her grandchildren, Barbara Bowen (William), Christopher Shurgott McConnell, Samuel, Nicholas and Stephen Shurgott; her great grandchildren, Brittaney Bowen (Tyler) and William Bowen (Cassidy Ginsburg); and her great great grandchildren, Ava, Ryder and Brynnlee.
