She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ellsworth and Sarah Jane Boyd (Clegg); her husband Harry "Curly" Sowers Jr.; her daughter Linda Laughland; and her siblings, Kathryn Anders, Vernon Boyd, Robert Boyd, Ellsworth Boyd, James Boyd and Faye Irene Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Sowers of Monongahela, David Sowers (Lora) of Monongahela and Donna Marie Hruby (Tim) of Monongahela; her grandchildren, Rebecca Laughland, James Robert Laughland (Jaime), Taylor Hruby (Craig Munster), Alicia Henson Johnathyn (Braden) and Jonah Sowers; her great grandchildren, Adian, Alister Evans, Ariel Munster and Ava Laughland; and her sister Shirley Necciai of Monongahela.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to help defray overwhelming medical costs.
