She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wanchic and Katarina Wanchic; her husband Michael Dupay; her brothers, John, Stephen, Michael, Joseph and Nicholas Wanchic; and her grandson John David Metz.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Dupay (Joann) of Charleston, WV, JoAnn Metz (David) of Monongahela and Janice Waltz (Robert) of Washington.

They would have been married sixty years until his passing of Parkinson disease in June of 1996.Katherine was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church in Belle Vernon.
