With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Newman of Monongahela, Pennsylvania, born in New Eagle, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2024 at the age of 60. He was predeceased by: his father John B. Newman, Sr.; his sister Diane L. Newman; and his grandparents, John, Lois Gailey Williams and Anna Newman.
He is survived by: his mother Claire Williams Shearer; his children, Jessica Weiss (Jeff) and Seth Newman (Megan); his grandchildren, Cole of Shelby Township, Michigan, Karlee of Shelby Township, Michigan and Kyla Newman of Shelby Township, Michigan; his nephew Garett Tustin (Rachel); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madelynn and Brayden; his close friend Gonzo Behanna; and his pet Bo. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Frye Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
