He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roger Applebee and Mildred Carey; his stepfather Hugh "Buzz" Carey of Monongahela; his siblings, Jan Applebee of Monongahela, Pat Gregg of Moon Township and Tom (Kay Applebee) of Nebraska; his half-sister Erin (Bruno Ansell) of Dawson; and his nieces and nephews, Ashley Kirby, Amy Manfredi, Jeffrey and Douglas Applebee.
