He was predeceased by: his wife Mary E. Griffith; and his son Marty Griffith. He is survived by: his girlfriend Johanna Kokoska of Monongahela; his children, Cecilia M. Griffith of Pittsburgh, Christine E. Benner (Edward) of Rowlett, TX and Mark F. Griffith of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; his grandchildren, Sara Benner of Rowlett, TX, Rachel Benner of Nashville, TN and Gavin Griffith of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.; and his sisters, Patty Johnson (Jerry) of Punta Gorda, FL and Carol Froats (George) of Bulger, PA.. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project because he had a special place in his heart for American Veterans.
