He is survived by: his wife Nanette Gilbert (Niccolai); his daughters, Lorena Leeper (Jonathan) of Carroll Twp and Jennifer Biel (Roman) of Monongahela; his brother Raymond Gilbert of Virginia; his grandson Diego; and his siblings, Claude II, Cass Gilbert, Lorena Ammon and Linda Dean. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
