She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Pierce and Eliza Ann Woods Pierce; her husband John; her daughter Susan Kay; her granddaughter Janell Abbott; and her siblings, Howard, Everett, Earnest, David, Ralph, Sarah Sisley, Ruth Lytle, Elizabeth Klingensmith and Mildred Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, John Robert (Freda), Elder James (Betty) and Diane; her son-in-law Ed Nester of Hanover Township; her grandson Scott Abbott (Marissa) of Rostraver Township; and her great grandchildren, Isaac and Ava Abbott.
