He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kearns and Mary Smucz Kearns; his wife Trudie Ann Kearns (Supp); and his siblings, Marie Valosen, John Kearns, Jr., Carl Kearns and Casmer Kearns.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Maise (David Anielewski) of Rostraver Township, Cindy McClintock (Scott) of Rostraver Township and Edward Jr. Kearns (Judy) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Justin McClintock (Carey), Scott McClintock (Krystal), Briana Jurcevich (Michael), Tom Maise Jr. (Amanda), Nick Maise, Ashley Sutton (Matthew) and Stephen Kearns; his great grandchildren, Grace, Scott, Beau, Mila, Cora, Logan, Kaley, Annie and Harrison; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kataira, Kaylx and Savvy; and his siblings-in-law, Ralph Veschio of Donora and Dolores Supp of Pittsburgh.
