It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Hughes of Monongahela, Pennsylvania, born in Donora, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominic Forlini and Virginia Zenobi Forlini; her husband John B. Hughes; and her brother Dino Forlini. She is survived by: her daughter Donna Simmen (Oscar) of Monongahela; her grandsons, David Simmen (Jamie) of Westminster, MD and Daniel Simmen of West Mifflin; her great grandchildren, Carter, Madison and Kennedy; her sister Mary Kuma of Pittsburgh; and her sister-in-law Helen Forlini of Ohio.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 1 Park Manor Road, Donora, PA 15033 or to Amedisys Hospice, 100 Stoops Drive, Suite 300, Monongahela, PA 15063 in memory of their beloved mother and grandmother.
