He is survived by: his sons, James Smith of Charleroi, Thomas Smith (Rose) of Blacksburg, VA and Matthew Smith of Charleroi; his grandson Alexander Smith; and his siblings, James Smith (Eloise) of Uniontown, Elizabeth Bartolozzi (Frank) of Dunlevy and Patty Haywood of Donora.
