He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eldred and Pauline Semosky Manges; his brother John E. Manges (Rosalie); his brothers-in-law, Frank Pavlisak and Frank Barton; his parents-in-law, Eugene "Duke" and Ruth Snodgrass Fisher; his sister-in-law Sally Power (Jerry); and his nephew David.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Fisher Manges; his children, Darwin R. Manges, Jr. (Ashley) of Monongahela, Valerie J. Buraczewski (Mark) of Monongahela, Steven P. Manges (Sonya Pollack) of Eighty Four and John Edward Manges (Anita Laughlin) of Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Courtney Chettle (George), Darien Manges, John Parker Manges, Gavin Ray Manges and Steven P. Manges, II; his stepgrandchildren, Callie and Brystol Bowden; his siblings, James L. Manges (Grace) of Donora, Lois Thomas of Florida and Carolyn Pavlisak of Monongahela; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Fisher (Joan) of Florida, John Fisher (Diana) of Florida, Janet Fassbach (Jim) of Finleyville and Linda Beattie (Jim) of Monongahela. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
