He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford E. Winbush and Helen Gladys Wouldridge Winbush; his wife Harriet Jefferson Winbush; and his sons, Paul, Aaron and Clifford E. Winbush, III.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jeanine Robinson (Darrell) of Baldwin and Marilyn Jones of Monongahela; and his brother Allen Winbush (Melrene) of St. Louis. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
