It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Rhodes of Monongahela, Pennsylvania, born in New Eagle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank B. O'Lexa and Ann Zuranski O'Lexa; her husband Robert E. Rhodes; and her siblings, Frank O'Lexa, Jr., John, Ronald, Robert O'Lexa and Ruth Cutright.
She is survived by: her children, David Rhodes of Monongahela, Dennis Rhodes (Tracy) of Sarasota, Dan Rhodes of Pittsburgh and Patricia Suydam (David) of New Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Erin Suydam, Brian Suydam (Fiona), Brandon Suydam, Katherine Koop (Jon), Jacqueline Harper (Ken), Kelly Kolomiychenko (Slavic), Kristy Petersen (Eric) and Tim Nixon (Hannah); and her great grandchildren, Blake, Hailey Richards, Eli, Thomas Suydam, Timothy Nixon, Sierra, Luke Harper, Cole and Grant Petersen.
