It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernard J. Baxter Jr. of Monongahela, Pennsylvania, born in New Eagle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 1, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Bernard's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Bernard has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Sr. Baxter and Margaret Baxter (Butti); his sister Loretta Kokoska (Paul); his niece Lisa Papay; and his close friend Norris Myers.
He is survived by: his nephew Paul Kokoska (Sandy) of Morgantown, WV; and his niece Maria "Lanie" Kane (Mark) of Monongahela. He is also survived by six great nieces and nephews and four great great nieces and nephews.
