She was predeceased by: her husband James "Taki" Papakostos; her daughter Genevieve; and her brother James Halvatzis. She is survived by: her children, Melanie Kreatsoulas (Theodore) of Long Island, NY and Bardis of Forest Hills; her grandchildren, George, Evie, Dimitri, Vasili Kreatsoulas, Elias and Maria Bardis; and her sibling Kostas "Coke" Halvatzis (Holly). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
