It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann O'Brien (Monongahela, Pennsylvania), born in Donora, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 10, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Gernat and Petrinia Zidowski Gernat; her husband Ernest D. O'Brien, Sr.; her son David P. O'Brien; her stepdaughter Becky Mestrey; and her siblings, Velma Bova, Peter, Mike, John, Andy Gernat and George.
She is survived by: her sons, Ernest D. O'Brien (Karen) of Monongahela and Michael J. O'Brien (Joseph Kotelnicki) of Pittsburgh; her daughter-in-law Michele O'Brien of Monongahela; her grandchildren, Robert O'Brien (Jessica), Ehren O'Brien and Keeley O'Brien; her stepgrandchildren, Kurt Mestrey (Mary), Kent Mestrey (Heather) and Kreston Mestrey; her sister Mary Behanna (Robert) of Forward Township; and her friend Yuza Kikla. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
