She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Hafer and Nellie Hafer (Folmer); her husband Albert F. Scalise; her daughter Gaynell Markowski (Scalise); her granddaughter Ellen Marie Markowski; and her siblings, Neville Hafer, Katherine "Sis" Lohr, Elizabeth "Betty" Shove, Robert "Buckshot" Hafer, Jack Hafer and Phylis Hafer.
She is survived by: her daughter Francine Donovan (Scalise); her sons-in-law, Michael K. Donovan and Joseph A. Markowski; her granddaughter Heather Donovan Jones; and her great grandchildren, Donovan Jones and Kaitlyn Jones.
