It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Canestrale (Monessen, Pennsylvania), born in Port Jervis, New York, who passed away on April 20, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Matthew "Mattie" Canestrale Jr.; and her parents-in-law, Matthew and Lorraine Canestrale (Caterino). She is survived by: her parents, Victor and Lena Oravec (Rodgers); her daughters, Alyssa Canestrale (Timothy Reihner) and Mia Marie Canestrale; her siblings, Michele Oravec Zubritsky, Victoria Lynn DeZardo and Victor "Tubby" Oravec (Karen); and her sisters-in-law, Doreen Dilegge (Alan) and Darlene Pabis (Fred Culler). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Due to the pandemic, private funeral services will be held in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen, with Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating.
