She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Watkins; her husband Leon "Pappy" Johnson Sr.; her siblings, Raymond "Pete" Watkins and Urella M. Chatman; her sons, Raymond H. Johnson and Leon V. Johnson Jr.; and her granddaughter Erica Johnson.
She is survived by: her brother David Burkes; her granddaughters, Lisa Cotton, Raynetta Johnson and Aneisha Johnson; her daughter-in-law Jackie Johnson Fields; her niece Patricia Booker; her nephew Geane Chatman; and her cousin Billie Hill-Greene.
