She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin H. Cook Sr. and Mary Katherine Cook (Groger); her husband John Torok; her son John David "Jay" Torok; her siblings, Robert E. Cook, Melvin Cook, Jr., Mary Joyce Cook Holzapfel and Patricia Cook Staley; and her nieces and nephews, Kim Cook, Lori Sprowls Staley, Bobby Cook, Rick Staley and Myron Sprowls.
She is survived by: her daughter Kristy Torok Chavez of Monessen; her grandchildren, Kaylene Chavez (Kevin) of Falls Church, VA and Johnathan (Diane Torok); her daughter-in-law Debi Torok; and her brother James Cook of Belle Vernon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. (441 Reed Ave, Monessen, PA 15062). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church (44 Pennsylvania Blvd, Monessen, PA 15062).
