He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Harger and Cecilia Hurley Harger; and his siblings, Regina Lape, Eleanor Caruso, Marion Murray, Cecilia Lowe, Alvin Harger and Glynn Harger.
He is survived by: his wife Carol McKita Harger; his daughters, Kathleen McQuillis (Rich) of Newell Pa and Lynn Campana (Jasper) of Little River, SC.; his grandchildren, Connor Campana (Kelsey), Sarah Stiffy, Cameron Campana, Carly Campana, Shayne McQuillis and Ian McQuillis; his siblings, Neil Harger (Betty Ann) of Monessen and Vivian Hammitt (Norman) of Monessen; and his brother-in-law Edward McKita (Elinore) of Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hogan-Melenyzer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (226 Fallowfield Ave, Charleroi, PA 15022). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Church – Charleroi Site (624 Washington Ave, Charleroi, PA 15022).
