He was predeceased by: his siblings, Anna Wotkowski, John 'Ketch' Resetar, Andy Resetar, Michael 'Skeeter' Resetar and Mae Tarasuk; and his parents, John Resetar and Anna Resetar.

He is survived by: his significant other Irene (Kennywood); his daughters, Susan Henderson (late Bob), Theresa Racine (Dave), Maryann Sopko (Stephen) and Cathy Jansma (Kevin); his grandchildren, Cathy Henderson, Michelle Racine, Nicole Racine, Anna Racine, Stephen Sopko, Sarah Sopko, Zach Jansma and Joe Jansma; his great grandchild Hannah Sopko; and his sisters, Helen Natko and Sophie Resetar.
