He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy McMillen and Harriet McMillen (Anderson); and his siblings, Guy, Richard and Olive.

He is survived by: his wife Helen "Sue" McMillen (Erwin); his sons, Keith (Sandra McMillen) and Craig (Carol McMillen); his grandsons, Chad (Michele McMillen) and Curt (Sara McMillen); his stepgranddaughter Alexandra (Elliot Riley); his great grandchildren, Macie McMillen, Noah McMillen, Madelyn McMillen and Nora McMillen; and his siblings-in-law, Sally, Larry Miller and Mary Kay McMillen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
