It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Bickerton (Monaca, Pennsylvania), born in McMechen, West Virginia, who passed away on December 11, 2019, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Bickerton and May Bickerton (Logston); his siblings, Willis Bickerton and Thelma Burkett; his grandson Andrew Bickerton; his brothers-in-law, John, Pete, Anthony Andrew and Frank Zaperach; and also Mary.
He is survived by: his sons, John Bickerton (Kathryn) of Center Township and Mike Bickerton (Nancy) of Laurel, Delaware.; his grandchildren, Robert L. Bickerton (Brooke) of Beaver, PA, Timothy Bickerton of Pittsburgh, PA. T, Rebecca Zurawski (Dan) of New Market, MD, Kailyn Bickerton of Laurel and Aimee Mankins; his great grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew Bickerton of Beaver, Sascha and Rachel Zurawski of New Market, MD.; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Zaperach of Center Township, Paul Zaperach of Calcutta, OH., Candy Zaperach of Calcutta, OH., Emma Slie, Julia Zoppelt, Sophia Zaperach and Anna Mae Zaperach. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
