She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicola Palaio and Josephine Palaio (Zaffy); and her husband William. She is survived by: her children, William Sebastian (Sue Ann) of Sewickley, Joanne Colton (Richard) of North Carolina and Donna VanKirk (Stuart) of North Hills; her grandchildren, Matthew Sebastian (Brandie), Daniel Sebastian (Jessica), Adam Colton and Deanna Colton; her great grandchildren, Evelina, Roscoe and Willow; and her sisters, Innocenza Palaio and Pauline Roesch. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Contributions may be made in Lu's memory, if desired, to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1409 Pennsylvania Avenue, Monaca, PA 15061 or Passavant Community, 105 Burgess Drive, Zelienople, PA 16063.
